The Transgo 4R100-HD2 Tugger transmission shift kit eliminates soft shifts and torque converter burn-up. Prevents downhill clutch burnup. With the increase in line pressure, you will see longer transmission life and can help to eliminate 2nd and 3rd gear burn-up. The kit helps to prevent pump buzz, torque converter shudder and slip, or complete burn up. The parts included in the kit work to eliminate reverse delay or zero engagement under hot fluid situations. The common trouble codes, 628, P1740, and P1744 will be lessened with the use of this shift kit.

The E4OD was in production from 1989-1997 and then transitioned into the 4R100 for the 1998-2005 model years. Both of these transmissions can be identified by the 20 bolt oil pan and 4 forward gears. For the F-150 and F-250 Super Duty the door jamb sticker will show a TR code of 'E'.
