ALTO 3-4 nine clutch "Powerpack." This kit works in any year of 700-R4 and 4L60-E. This is a must for high HP, heavy abuse applications, but is definitely recommended if you just want to increase the life or durability of any transmission. Stock, these transmissions have between four and six clutches in this pack and never have the right clearance for proper shift quality. With this kit you'll be able to increase the friction surface area 50%, to nine clutches. Plus, you'll have selective plates that let you customize the clearance to the desired amount. The kit comes with everything that you'll need to complete the conversion, including a new special snap ring and pressure plate. The directions that are supplied give all the necessary info, including the required clearances.
