Vehicles with a C6 transmission frequently have complaints of stacked upshifts even with no vacuum at the modulator, no kickdown, poor line rise, or direct clutch failure. These complaints can be caused by severe wear of the transmission case at the modulator valve bore. When excessive wear occurs, line pressure and TV pressure are allowed to cross leak and/or leak to sump. Sonnax part 36833-01K addresses these complaints.
