700-R4, 200-4R. When using Holley carburetors with GM and Ford TV cable-controlled transmissions, it is common for the TV stud on the carburetor to travel further than the allowable TV cable travel. The result is that the TV cable is pulled out of adjustment at full throttle. Sonnax TV cable corrector AS2-02K reconfigures the carburetor throttle lever to TV cable geometry for correct TV operation and prevents the TV cable from being pulled out of adjustment. A properly functioning TV system is critical for transmission line pressure rise and shift timing. A poorly configured or adjusted TV cable can cause transmission failure. When modifying a vehicle, there are others factors that will also affect TV geometry.
