The Transgo 48-ACT-TL At 100,000 miles, you can bet the actuator bore will be worn. Worn bores cause low pressure hot clutch, band and converter slippage, wrong gear starts, mysterious burn up and codes 39, 85, and 68.

The Transgo boring guide and cutter makes this fix an easy 5-minute job. Special valves have 50% more linear support and oscillate less than half as much as the original design. This virtually stops the wear and makes the valve body more durable than a new one.

This kit includes all the tools, valves and springs you will need to repair the Actuator Feed Limit on General Motors vehicles equipped with 4L80E and 4L85E automatic transmissions.

The 4L80E and its variants were in production from 1991-2010 and can be identified by the 17-bolt oil pan and 4 forward gears.  Typically, this transmission is found in the heavier duty trucks and vans; mostly the 2500 and 3500 series.  It will also be found in the heavy half-ton, such as the 1500HD, SS, or Denali truck with the 6.0L

The 4L80E and 4L85E transmissions were found in the following GM labels and other brands; Chevrolet, Chevy, GMC, Hummer H1, Isuzu NPR, Jaguar, Aston Martin, Bentley, Rolls-Royce
