Ford A4LD master rebuild box kit, HD lockup torque converter, and a Transgo SK-A4LD-JR shift kit.
This package is for the 1985-1996 Ford, Mercury, Mazda, and Merkur A4LD automatic transmission.
The mater rebuild kit contains
- A Transtec overhaul set with every rubber seal, gasket, o-ring, metal clad seals, and Teflon sealing rings that you'll need to complete your rebuild
- All BorgWarner friction clutch plates
- All Raybestos steel plates
- New fluid filter
- New vacuum modulator
- Intermediate band
- Overdrive band
- Reverse band
- Bushing for the pump and extension housing

Transgo SK-A4LD-Junior shift kit
The shift kit corrects, prevents, and fixes:
- Direct clutch failure
- Soft 1-2 shifts
- Lockup too soft
- Cut-loose or flare 2-3 shift
- Delayed or bang into reverse
- Late shifts
- No 4th gear shift
- 1-3 upshift at light-throttle
- Delayed lockup clutch release
- Engine chugs or stalls
Along with fixing these common problems, you'll also see an increase in the life of your transmission due to the reduced slippage.
Remember to soak all of your clutches in transmission fluid for thirty minutes before you install them.
