Torque converter lock-up valve kit from Transgo. The 4R100-LU works in diesel applications and pairs well with any of the Transgo shift kits, or on its own. Works in the Ford 4R100 overdrive automatic transmissions.

The Transgo 4R100-LU works in 1998-2004 diesel applications. This valve upgrade is recommended for any high performance or heavy-duty application. This PWM Valve Assembly installs into stator support (pump cover) to convert soft PWM lock up to a short and crisp, on-off lock up. This product is not recommended with aftermarket triple disc converter.

The Transgo E4-VL-23 accumulator valve body repair kit includes the following parts.

• Three steel replacement 2-3 shift valves

This kit will work perfectly for stock, off-road, towing, and other HD uses.

The 4R100 was in production from 1998-2004 model years. This transmission can be identified by the 20 bolt oil pan and 4 forward gears. The transmission can also be identified by the door jamb sticker with a TR code of 'E'.

This transmission valve kit works in the following vehicle applications, however you should double check your application with the bolt count or door sticker code.  It is common for similar vehicles to have multiple transmission options available from the factory.
