Fits 2005 and later transmissions

Replaces the OEM valves with the balance spool diameter of .298" or .312".   This kit is not compatible with .402" dia. valves.  Vehicles equipped with 2005-later 5R110W Torqshift units can exhibit a number of TCC apply issues caused by bore wear at the converter pressure limit valve. Erratic apply pressure, soft or harsh TCC apply, slipping, and TCC lining failure are common consequences of this wear. In extreme cases, pressure can elevate to the point of ballooning the converter. Installing Sonnax converter pressure limit valve kit 36940-06K restores the hydraulic integrity of this circuit to recover normal TCC operation.
