This may be caused by severe wear at the TCC regulator valve, allowing valuable converter regulator pressure to exhaust and significantly reducing lubrication oil. The drop-in Sonnax TCC regulator valve kit 84741-07K restores the critical hydraulic clearance between the valve and bore, and blocks the casting wear from exhausting critical pressure. The valve and sleeve are made from highly wear-resistant material, provide nearly double the sealing engagement over OE and have features to aid in valve centering. The sleeve and valve assembly eliminates wear to allow proper stroking of the valve, has lengthened bore engagement for greater sealing integrity, and is made from wear-resistant materials for durability. A new spring is included to restore OE pressure specifications and work with the lengthened pressure regulator valve.
