In Ford E4OD units, leakage between center support and hub can cause forward clutch failure and/or poor lube oil flow. The cause of this leakage can be from one or more of the following; insufficient number and staggered spacing of mounting screws, surface finish flaws and flatness defects. Install Sonnax E4OD center support gasket 36743G which has a printed silicone bead to fill in any gaps.
